Churchill College
Fine art photography of the Library, Churchill College Cambridge presented as part of the large Illuminating Cambridge Libraries series. The library at Churchill Cambridge is divided into the Wolfson, Bracken, and Bevin rooms, plus the Churchill Archive Centre. This makes for quite a diverse selection in its photographic footprint. One area of great interest was the curved staircase constructed out of standard bricks, and another was the amazing wood textures captured in the concrete. The Churchill Archive Centre itself contains many of Churchill’s personal collection, many carefully preserved in a low-oxygen environment.
This photographic collection of the library at Churchill College Cambridge was photographed in 2017-18 and contains 51 images, a small selection of which are shown below and available as giclee prints in many sizes.
