Darwin College
Fine art photography of the Library, Darwin College Cambridge presented as part of the large Illuminating Cambridge Libraries series. Darwin’s library is an elongated, bright space. Most of the books are shelved on an enormous curved wall that spans the length of the library. The ceiling slopes up and away from this mammoth bookshelf to a mezzanine level, full of study spaces and windows overlooking the River Cam and the small island. On occasion, those studying can watch the cattle grazing. One photo was Winner in Cultural Interior for Architecture Photography Awards (2022)
