St Catharine's College
Fine art photography of the Sherlock Library, St Catharine’s College Cambridge presented as part of the large Illuminating Cambridge Libraries series. Built in 1763, the Sherlock Library has a large ceiling rose (see ‘Ceiling Detail I‘) that adds an air of delicacy to the long room. The tall bookcases create communal study bays with large desks and the whole space has a calming demeanour.
This photographic collection of the Sherlock Library at St Catharine’s College Cambridge was photographed in 2017-18 and contains 51 images, a small selection of which are shown below and available as giclee prints in many sizes.
