Trinity Hall
Fine art photography of the Old Library, Trinity Hall Cambridge presented as part of the large Illuminating Cambridge Libraries series. Essentially unchanged since the 1590s, the Old Library is a Cambridge treasure. It’s standing lecterns are original, as are the lock and chaining mechanisms (see ‘Key‘ and ‘Edge‘). The library keeps two chained books (see ‘Chains‘ and ‘Crescent and Lock‘). The library is open for visitors at special occasions and for occasional tours.
This photographic collection of the Old Library at Trinity Hall Cambridge was photographed in 2019 and contains 48 images, a small selection of which are shown below and available as giclee prints in many sizes.
Created and presented with thanks to the librarians and by kind permission of the Master and Fellows of the College. Click here to learn more about the library.
