Corpus Christi College

Fine art photography of the Parker Library, Corpus Christi College Cambridge presented as part of the large Illuminating Cambridge Libraries series. The Parker Library at Corpus Cambridge is known for is magnificent medieval collection of manuscripts, including being the keeper of the world’s oldest bound book. The library itself was a William Wilkins design, completed in 1827. Most of the ceiling roses are botanical in nature, but some are faces, presumably of the builders themselves. This photographic collection of the Parker Library at Corpus Christi College Cambridge was photographed in 2017 and contains 79 images, a small selection of which are shown below and available as giclee prints in many sizes.
